Mana & Chi is an apothecary dedicated to the revival of ancient, ancestral remedies and rituals for holistic wellness. Our origins lie in our founders’ family’s long heritage of using natural concoctions for their own beauty, health and wellness pursuits. Our founder, an energy healer, was also heavily inspired by the practice of ancient Vedics and alchemists, who integrated their knowledge of recipes with their understanding of energy and matter, to create potions with greater potency.
And from such roots began our own vast exploration of age-old wellness remedies, rituals and therapies from different cultures across the world. From all natural face masks, body scrubs used in ancient India to imperial Chinese face rollers to healing modalities like Pranic Healing & European Bach Flower Therapy, we aspire to bring you the best of what our ancestors had to offer.
Our flagship line of products that are inspired by popular, ancestral beauty remedies & rituals

I met Manasi at a marketplace and tried Nikhaar Ubtan
for the first time. Absolutely fell in love with the scent of dried orange peels and sandalwood when I tried it out ! Now I have become a regular user of this face mask, which leaves mytskin soft and hydrated after a long day out under the sun or in the office. Highly recommend it!

Since buying the pranic energy infused face roller with pink quartz , I’ve enjoyed adding it to my beauty regime for tauter and healthier skin. It’s great after refrigeration for that wake me up in the morning and with your favourite night cream or oil for that de stresser before bedtime. I love ancient beauty secrets and now with this I’ve added one more to my arsenal , thank you Mana & Chi.
I’m glad to have encountered Indian Ubtan at DB market a few months ago. An entirely different experience from other facial products I have used. I am super allergic, problems often appear after certain time using other products. With Indian Ubtan, I have had zero allergy so far. It is super refreshing, especially after a long day wearing masks 🙂
I have used Nikhar for the last one year and I absolutely love it. I love the fact that it’s got natural ingredients and I can use it everyday on my skin! My skin feels clean , smooth and refreshed! I use it 2-3 times a week and I fee it is doing wonders on my skin
I am a complete wellness junkie and always on the lookout for the next ‘clean’ product to introduce into my daily wellness routine. With that I was happy to be introduced to Mana & Chi. I began using their product Nikhaar for 2 months and have to say it’s effectively replaced my weekly scrub and I love that it leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean. It’s been an enjoyable experience using it and the ingredients used smell earthy and wholesome, the best kind !

‘It’s has been my endeavour to take you back in time and relive the magic of their ways. Take home a complete experience, not just an ancestral recipe or ritual but a piece of history itself.
Regional art is the most potent language of the land. It connects you with the spirit of its people and ideology of its natives. It was important for me to research, seek inspiration and package the products in a way that spoke the same language where the recipe/ritual of the product originated from. Hope you enjoy this piece of art as much I have creating it. ’ – Manasi Golechha Bhandari

We wanted you to not just have the beauty ritual from the dynasties but also the encased box from the same period. Hence we found inspiration in the oriental forms and colors in the remnants of ancient Chinese architecture seen in Beijing for an immersive experience. ‘ – Manasi Golechha Bhandari
There are five primary colours in traditional Chinese culture that correspond to the five elements and to the five directions. Harmonizing these five elements brings peace to all directions. Green (wood element) represents east; red (fire element) represents south; white (metal element) represents west; black (water element) represents north; and yellow (earth element) represents the centre.
We have also included a sketch of the Great Wall of China to give you a glimpse of the grandeur and the wonder of the world from ancient China.

Nikhaar Ubtan is laced with the regional art of Gond that comes from the land the recipe hails from which is Madhya Pradesh, situated at the heart of central india.
Gond is a famous folk art of the Gond tribal community of central India. The Gond people believe that every element of nature, be it the hills, the sky or the trees, is inhabited by a spirit. Recreating the forms of nature therefore is done with reverence and worship of their sacred essence.
The most significant subjects explored and depicted in Gond paintings include birds, animals, and mythical beasts. Considered as the Tree of Life – the Mahua tree is an important subject, the flowers, fruits, seeds, and leaves from the Mahua tree serve many purposes for the tribe.
