Where the spirit does not work with the hand there is no art. – Leonardo da Vinci
‘It’s has been my endeavour to take you back in time and relive the magic of their ways. Take home a complete experience, not just an ancestral recipe or ritual but a piece of history itself.
Regional art is the most potent language of the land. It connects you with the spirit of its people and ideology of its natives. It was important for me to research, seek inspiration and package the products in a way that spoke the same language where the recipe/ritual of the product originated from. Hope you enjoy this piece of art as much I have creating it. ’ – Manasi Golechha Bhandari

All I need is tender care

freeze me for an icy flair
A dip in water a terrible scare.
Once dry, tuck me in
full moon baths make me slim
hare to serve you with daily love.
Like i did under the Qing Rulers!
Your yushi Gunlun

We wanted you to not just have the beauty ritual from the dynasties but also the encased box from the same period. Hence we found inspiration in the oriental forms and colors in the remnants of ancient Chinese architecture seen in Beijing for an immersive experience. ‘ – Manasi Golechha Bhandari
There are five primary colours in traditional Chinese culture that correspond to the five elements and to the five directions. Harmonizing these five elements brings peace to all directions. Green (wood element) represents east; red (fire element) represents south; white (metal element) represents west; black (water element) represents north; and yellow (earth element) represents the centre.
We have also included a sketch of the Great Wall of China to give you a glimpse of the grandeur and the wonder of the world from ancient China.

Nikhaar Ubtan is laced with the regional art of Gond that comes from the land the recipe hails from which is Madhya Pradesh, situated at the heart of central india.
Gond is a famous folk art of the Gond tribal community of central India. The Gond people believe that every element of nature, be it the hills, the sky or the trees, is inhabited by a spirit. Recreating the forms of nature therefore is done with reverence and worship of their sacred essence.
The most significant subjects explored and depicted in Gond paintings include birds, animals, and mythical beasts. Considered as the Tree of Life – the Mahua tree is an important subject, the flowers, fruits, seeds, and leaves from the Mahua tree serve many purposes for the tribe.
We have also included a sketch of an architectural wonder, our ancestral heritage home from where the magic began!
